Rafael Camara, a rising star in the world of motorsports, has been captivating audiences with his exceptional talent and remarkable achievements on the track. From a young age, Rafael’s passion for racing ignited, and he quickly emerged as a force to be reckoned with in the karting world.
At just 7 years old, Rafael embarked on his karting journey, demonstrating remarkable skill and determination. By 2016, he had already established himself as a prominent figure in the highly competitive SKUSA Super Master Series, where his relentless drive and unwavering focus propelled him to become a regular series winner by 2019.
In 2021, Rafael’s meteoric rise continued as he clinched victories in prestigious events such as the WSK Champions Cup, the WSK Super Master Cup, and the Champions of the Future in the OK category. Despite his limited experience in Formula 4, his outstanding performances caught the attention of Escuderia Telmex, leading to his selection to compete in the FDA World Finals. Impressing on the global stage, Rafael secured a coveted spot in the Ferrari Driver Academy, becoming the third Brazilian driver, following in the footsteps of Enzo Fittipaldi and Gianluca Petecof, to join this esteemed program.
In 2022, racing under the banner of Prema, Rafael showcased his immense talent in the UAE, Italian, and German Formula 4 championships. With an impressive tally of nine victories, he secured a remarkable second place in the UAE championship and a commendable third place in both the Italian and German championships. Rafael’s performances cemented his status as a rising star with limitless potential.
Continuing his journey towards Formula 1™, Rafael progressed to the Formula Regional championship while remaining with the prestigious Prema team for the 2023 season. With his exceptional skill, determination, and the support of a top-tier team, he claimed a championship victory during his 2024 Formula Regional campaign. This success secured his seat with Trident Racing for the 2025 FIA Formula 3 season.
In 2025, Rafael delivered a standout season in FIA Formula 3, clinching the Drivers’ Championship and firmly establishing himself as one of the most exciting prospects in the junior formula ladder.
Building on this momentum, Rafael steps up to the FIA Formula 2 Championship for the 2026 season with Invicta Racing, marking another significant milestone in his ascent toward Formula 1™. Competing at the penultimate rung of the F1 ladder, he continues to refine his racecraft against some of the most talented drivers in the world.
