Alex Robert Bowen, a junior at St. Petersburg High School in Florida, made headlines in 2024 with a remarkable podium finish at Mugello in the Italian GT Endurance Championship. Driving a Lamborghini Huracán GT3 for Imperiale Racing, this achievement marks a significant milestone in his burgeoning motorsport career and highlights his exceptional talent and determination.

Alex’s passion for racing ignited at a young age when he transformed his driveway into an imaginary racetrack. Recognizing his enthusiasm, his parents enrolled him in karting classes, setting him on a dedicated path in motorsports. Proudly carrying the Belizean flag, Alex is a first-generation American deeply connected to his family’s heritage. He holds the distinction of being the first person from Belize to participate in motorsports—a role he embraces with honor.

His racing journey began in 2019 with consistent top finishes in karting championships. In 2021, he dominated the X30 Junior category at the Orlando Kart Center Championship, winning seven out of ten races and clinching the overall title. His success continued with victories in the Orlando Cup Karting Championship and participation in F4 and USF2000 test events.

In 2024, Alex’s relentless pursuit of excellence led him to Imperiale Racing and the Italian GT Endurance Championship. His accomplishments are a testament to his skill, dedication, and ability to perform under pressure.
