FILIPPO SALA

Filippo Sala, a young and promising karting talent, was born on July 28, 2011, in Trento, Italy. From a tender age, his father, a former Porsche driver, ignited Filippo’s passion for motorsports, instilling in him the dream of becoming a successful racing driver himself.

At the tender age of four, Filippo experienced a life-changing moment when his father allowed him to drive an electric GoKart for the first time in April 2015. It was a love-at-first-sight experience that fueled his determination to pursue a career in racing. No longer a mere observer, Filippo relished being the protagonist of his racing journey, eager to prove himself and follow in the footsteps of the great drivers he had admired.

In 2017, Filippo’s dream began to materialize as he ventured into the world of mini-moto racing, where he displayed an unwavering competitive spirit. With every race, he aspired to be among the best, and in August 2017, Filippo celebrated his first triumph, winning a race and experiencing the thrill of success firsthand.

The following year, in 2019, Filippo seized the opportunity to participate in the “Challenge of Americas” in the United States. His performances were nothing short of exceptional, as he secured victory in five out of six races, showcasing his talent on an international stage.

Determined to leave an indelible mark on the karting world, Filippo continued his ascent, competing in various prestigious events and earning accolades like the title of Italian Champion in the Under 10 category in 2020. That same year, he also triumphed in the EasyKart World Final, cementing his status as a formidable force in karting.

Undeterred by challenges, Filippo took the brave step of moving to the Junior category in 2022, a year ahead of his peers. This decision demonstrated his readiness to face tougher competition and grow as a driver. Throughout the season, he secured pole positions, achieved podium finishes, and showcased his tenacity to excel in the highly competitive karting world.

In 2023, Filippo continued to impress on the international karting stage, achieving a remarkable third place in the WSK Super Master Series. With an unwavering passion for karting and a burning desire to reach the pinnacle of motorsports, Filippo Sala’s journey has just begun.
